On July 22nd I quit smoking with God's grace. I smoked for 42 years and never thought I
would be able to quit. Some days it's still a little hard but not as bad as the first week or two.
But I needed something to do with my hands when I wasn't paper crafting, so I learned how to
crochet these swirly scarves. What do you think of them?
BTW I actually have a few more made by now. LOL
Here I am modeling a black and silver one
Good for you, Kathy!!!! And the scarves are awesome!!!!! My husband quit smoking years ago, however, he took up cigars recently... same thing in my book... grrrr..... keep up the good work!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Teri
Thanks Terri, My dh went from smoking to chewing
ReplyDeletetobacco, but after his 2nd stem cell transplant his
mouth was so burned all the way thru his GI tract
that he couldn't even swallow spit so he basically
had to quit chewing too. Now we are both tobacco free
but it is still hard sometimes.
Congrats on being smoke-free! (You quit on my birthday lol) The scarves are cute; I've received 3 of them in different swaps. Keep up the good work!
