My Summer/Beach Charm

Hello welcome to my blog,
For the theme of summer I am sharing a little charm I made
for a swap at the CMB. We were to make a chunky charm with a TH swivel clasp and at least 3 summer/seashore/beach type charms to make 10 dangles total.
This was to be nicely presented on a card. For my card I used the Magnolia
stamp Mermaid Tilda, also some cute little 3D fish embellies at the bottom.
I used Divine swirls embossing folder and some quirky
tan yarn that kinda reminded me of seaweed. LOL Hope you like what I made.
Feel free to look back thru my other projects while you are here as well.
Thanks for stopping,

  1. Kathy, your charms and card are so pretty! Great job on them. Your coloring on Tilda is wonderful! What did you use on her scales? Thanks for sharing with us on the June Bug Jump!

  2. On that one and only that one I traced her scales with a toothpick and a metalic blue acrylic paint then filled in with the copics.
I was just playing around with different effetcs.LOL Hope the ladies on the July charm swap like them too....cause they'll be the ones getting them. *smile*

  3. Cute charm and I love the tag! I'm always jealous of the copic coloring.

  4. Very cute charm and tag...I love that Tilda mermaid and the way you colored her is great.

  5. So cute Kathy! Love the tag and the charm!

  6. Heaven...OMG..I hope one of them goes to me...SMILE...I LOVE her. Great job.

  7. Rhonda, not sure which grp your in,
    but maybe....LOL
Thanks for all the sweet comments ladies!
